What do you mean they aren't on any OTR trucks? 24.5s and Cats are all anybody I know runs, except for my dad, of course none of us go to Cali or much east of the Mississippi so maybe we don't qualify as OTR.

About 13 years, give or take. But tons of highway trucks run 24.5.

Not many OTR trucks have a manual as standard equipment either, doesn't mean they're rare.

I would completely disagree with you there. Manuals are super rare right now and they're actually discontinuing them. When I went to buy my manual transmission truck it took me 3 months to find a manual transmission with an APU in a newer truck. I think 2023 will be one of the last years you can get a manual transmission? I was reading about it recently and the trucking companies have to get rid of them in OTR trucks in order to meet new emissions standards or some such ########

You're delusional. What you mean is they are the minority size in the OTR world only not rare in the aggregate of the trucking industry as a whole. Just because you live in truck stops doesn't mean there aren't other sectors of Transportation.

That's crazy. Michelins are over priced and live on their name. Not saying they're junk but there are so many tires out there that perform just as well for far less money.

Does not make manual transmissions rare. I threw 3 of them away this year and still have another 13 speed in my way in the shop.
