Apparently if it can't be found on a Swift truck it's rare.

Well with that being said now Iam really really glad I'am not mainstream
And I probably won't sleep well knowing I have a rare motor that I might not be able to get a oil filter for next week .. and tires ... well it's a good thing there's alot of Amish around me ...maybe they can carve me out a set of 24:5 wheels for my dinosaur

I’m looking at a set of Bridgestone drive tires in my future. M713 I believe? At 11r24.5 with mounting going to set me back a crap load. Going to do centramatics too.

You keep bringing up the megas. And every one you list pull a box. There is a lot of trucking that doesn't. All of the megas put together do haul even 10% of the freight.

I never thought of it that way...tire cost per mile.
I was more looking at it how the tires last per total mileage. For instance, I know that good Micheline steering tires can last easy for as long as 225 000 miles, Generals on drives about 300 000. As a matter of fact the Yokohamas I got 2.5 years ago, are well over 200 000 and they still got enough meat for this Winter and I am thinking 300 000 are more than likely to achieve. Sometimes, there could be a damage and almost new tire needs to be thrashed.
That's an interesting concept to see it denominated to $/mile.
