I would have gotten that on my XDN2's, if I wasn't force into buying now, before the 2K price increase. Also the majority of my time on those tires were LTL deliveries, which is rough as hell on everything. Line Haul Now, so shooting for 700 000kms on this set.
Drives Hankook DL12 Flex (Open Shoulder, Snowflake Rated) Firestone FD711 (Open Shoulder, High Scrub) Firestone FD663 (Open Shoulder Local/High Scrub) Yokohama drivers choice. Steers Firestone FS591 Hankook AL21
I got a set(8) of those d12 hancook for 4300 cdn mounted and balance they are wearing pretty great actually. Put a set of Michelin X line Steers for 1730 CDN mounted and balanced, not sure I would trust anything up front other the Michelin TBH. If there is one place you don't wanna penny pitch it's the steering tires
Normally I would agree, but those FS591's are pretty impressive, and most of the O/O's I work with are making the switch. No issues to report yet.
I had FS561 steers. Was actually looking for 591's, and couldn't find any local. Ended up with BF ST244 16-ply steers. I run the FD663 drives you mentioned earlier. In about 60k miles, they still look exactly the same. About $380 each. I don't have anything to compare them to, but I like them.
Good choice on the ST 244's, the new BF Highway Control S are TRASH. Yea those FD663's are meaty, the local guys swear by them, I would have gotten them, but no stock and our best deals are on Goodyears (I got the G182 RSD's)
