You made my case.you actually do drive that big ol'fast unit, heavily laden @47,500,as if you are the only driver out here.Consider sharing the road, not hogging it.That courtesy,or lack thereof, will indeed come back to you in either of two ways.

as perfect of a driver as you think that you are, there will be a time when you have to hope that another driver does the right thing for you.you should be willing to do so for him when the opportunity arises.

I'll never understand the whiners balently violating law by speeding whining someone will not move over for them. And then cite nonexistant laws jusifying their position.

You see it every day in Atlanta. Never bothers me though. Speed limit one lane away from on/off ramps. Don't want the hassle of trying to pass do the speed limit. As for your convenience my license means far more to me, as does my money to risk constant lane changes or speeding. Feel free to risk yours in any lane you wish.

times have changed, dramatically so,and i bet that you went to truck driving school and while at that driving school you developed the bad attitude that you now have.

I reiterate,it is sad that you were forced into returning to driving as opposed to entering it because you wanted to.I called it right initially and you really don't want to be out here.your "better than the average truck driver" attitude is clearly present in your posts and in your actions on the highway.

please consider using proper punctuation, even minimally, in your bursts of spite as doing so would certainly make your posts easier to read and thus comprehend.

IF that is truly the manner in which you drive, are you then not merely posting to be argumentative? YES, that does appear to be the case. regardless, thank you for allowing faster traffic to ease on by staying in the slower lane(s). The law will deal directly w/whomever is singled out for speeding thereby making this entire thread a moot point. All I desire is the same consideration that i show when approached by faster moving traffic-I get out of the way thereby meaning I share the road as opposed to hogging it.

Georgia is now writing tickets for impeding the flow of traffic and no,i will not cite the link. You newbies have the computer skills to locate it on your own. I will go out on a limb and declare that many states will follow suit and write the same ticket as they are all seeking revenue and big trucks are the first area they explore.Making traffic pass you on both sides is rather obvious to spot not to mention the road rage it causes, whether in 4 wheelers or trucks.Add to that the speeding tickets and that cash cow is flowing their way.

I suggest that IF you middle lane drivers do watch your mirrors, you will see that faster moving vehicle approaching and you can then plan your move to the right, allowing that faster vehicle to ease on by.

That makes the whole crying/whining reply that traffic won't allow you to move over to the right or that you are already doing the speed limit a MOOT POINT.

Courtesy should be practiced by each and every one of us,ESPECIALLY when it is involving another big truck. Courtesy is a really simple concept that pays dividends to each and every one of us day in and day out whether on the road or at the truckstop.

Really Georgia is writing tickets for going the speed limit. Holy cow! Do they have the UZS Marshalls handing them out as well.

Yeah sure ya' betcha. Now if your climbing a hill at 45 in the second lane sure they will. Doubt your gonna find any officer to write someone doing the speed limit a citation.

Why is it my job to accomodate someone else's actions? Oh that is right it is not.

I really doubt they would ever write a ticket for doing the speed limit and try such a ridiculous thing.

However, here is a link that supports your laughable claim.

Been there, done that, got trapped in the right lane by the line of cars tailgating the truck that I just let by while climbing a grade under load, forced down to 40mph by the merging traffic that doesn't understand that being in the 'acceleration lane' demands full use of that skinny pedal on the right, thus losing my momentum, and stuck climbing the remainder of the grade in 8th gear. All a result of being 'considerate'.
