NC to Las Vegas
1) I stay in hotels at night. Any I-40 hotel deserts to worry about?
2) Any truck friendly casinos on the strip? Circus Circus always has low rates but is parking pretty good to come by?
Is TX, OK, NV DOT hard #####?
Tired of regional. Going to book an east coast to Las Vegas load... questions

Trucking Jobs in 30 seconds
Every month 400 people find a job with the help of TruckersReport.

Orleans Hotel & Casino doesn't charge truckers to park there.
That will change after football season is back on track because the Raiders will lease about half the parking lot for football fans.

I haven’t been past Okc in years, but most all the scales have their days when they can be a pain. It’s generally better to cross them at night if possible. Most have a fairly easy way to go around.

Are rates back east as bad as my load boards are showing?

When running 40 going to to the west. Az and nm. Both watch thier construction sites and. The only issuses ive had with the states west of okc. Is when I got pre passed for the scale. I broke the solid line and in both states and got pulled for it in both states.
No tickets thou. Before we can tell you everything we know bout each state. Are you running hot shot or big rig?Doing_flatbed_nc Thanks this. -
Arizona are dicks so are nevada and texas. Okc can be dicks depending which day of the week it is.

I think NM DOT is the toughest.
You used to be able to park at "The D" in the downtown part, but I don't know now, there's construction going on there.
I'd park at South Pointe or The TA and just Uber to the strip.
I do know of a place where a few trucks can park literally on the strip, but that's classified.Doing_flatbed_nc, D.Tibbitt and feldsforever Thank this. -

Ok then I can't speak on behalf oof the flat bedders. But I ran mount airy nc to Bakersfield .ca. Every week for almost 30 months.
If you take 40 as far as you can. Just don't stand out. If you don't have a scale prepass. Just find out in advance where there are. You said your regional. So u should already have a good idea on TN.
You can for the most part depending on time of day run 70 to 75 in most spots. It would go Mount airy nc. To west Memphis 1st day. West Memphis to exit 75 in Texas day2. Armirillo I think. Day 3. Providing good weather and no construction. Would end in az. Exit 9 on forty.
I feel like I'm missing a day. But hope this helps. Again I know nothing bout how they treat the flat beds out there. Do u have wind experience?D.Tibbitt and Doing_flatbed_nc Thank this.
