Tired of sitting

DD S60, quoted $1600 to seal the front gear casing, but I'm thinking it will be around $2k for that once it's all over. Had them run the top end, repair the A/C compressor bracket and replace a P/S hose, so the total will probably run around $3k.

@sdaniel: yup, we established that before it got pulled into the bay - book calls for 20 hours.

 

This shop always finds a way to squeeze another couple of hundred into the bill, but considering that they charge about 35% less than the 'big name' shops around here, it's still a good value. And I'm willing to bet that I'd be waiting the same amount of time had I gone to one of those other shops.
