I am still running the M713’s
Got 315k miles on them and probably another 200k miles left to go. Absolute perfect wear and quiet.
Had the Goodyear’s on my last truck but can’t compare the fuel mileage because I ran a different axle ratio.

Couple pictures because I’m bored :)

I know you run heavy most of the time but how do those do in the snow and ice? I love the my M760's best ones I have found for fuel and traction.

Dang that's really good mileage . I was ever lucky to get 150k out of a set of tires before either a running over something and getting a puncture that couldn't be patched or b just wore out from running off road all the time.... I remember couple years back I bought a brand new set of m713 and got a huge hole in 1 after running over piece of metal at a jobsite . Only had the tires a week or so. Had to be replaced that really grind my gears...

Do u run the centrimatics balancers ?

I ran m713 in the northwest exclusively. Have to say they aren't great in the snow or if it's really slick out... but really I should've been running open shoulders for the work I was putting the truck thru. For just highway work they are just as good as any other close shoulder

Just pulled a nail out of a drive couple days back. Trailer was in the shop getting a new abs sensor installed.
Figured that was the best place to finally pull it. Was in the center of the tread so it could be patched. I struggled getting it out but finally did and it didn’t penetrate. It actually bent and did a u-turn, lol boy was I ever grateful.

Steer tires I have absolutely no luck with. End up getting a couple skip marks and they get to the point where my mirrors start vibrating and at night it’s a pain driving. On my second set now and probably going to get another if I can’t get this figured out. I’ve never tried th centrimatics. Have always done spin balancing thinking that way was best. Don’t know if there’s any truth to it or not but was told by a tire guy that spin balancing can still be off 4oz or more.
Thinking now to break down both steers and switch them to the opposite side then try balancing beads..along with an alignment. Already did the shocks recently.

I think that I’m able to get good mileage out of them because I drive mostly at night when the roads are cooler in the summer. Just my theory.

I do balance beads in steers and they seem to do pretty good. Never balanced a tire on my trucks either. Been running the Bridgestone's for the steer tires and they seem to work best but they still get cut to hell on these horrible roads.

I like to think it’s my driving skilzz that gets me through the snow and ice, haha.

Seriously I had no problem with them in the snow but did notice a little difference now that the tread depth is decreasing.

Thinking I should try selling the ones I got while they are still in good shape and offset the price of new ones. Been toying with the idea of going to a taller tire just to bring the rpm’s down a bit when I’m cruising at 75mph.

That's not a bad Idea. Sure you can get a decent amount of money for them. I dont like driving over 70 but I did most of the way from SLC to Nashville since it was 1800 miles and picked up Wednesday 5 PM and had to be here before 4 PM. Light load and still managed to get 8.7 MPG's for the trip. Would had been better if not for the #### wind once hit I70 in MO.

Ehhh i prefer the michlins. The bridgestones for MY application didnt hold up well offroad. I was lucky to get 20Kish before a rock or something would push through that soft rubber and damage the cords or cause them to blow. For standard road use however YMMV and they may be a good tire in that application. But i just dont like how squishy they were.
