I too would like to hear something about Titan transfer.....anybody? What's your miles averaging? Starting pay? Pet policy? Do you take the truck home or leave it at the terminal? Single bunks or double bunks? How strict are they on logs? How's the insurance?

I have talked to the recruiter Curtis Smith, and am meeting with him tomorrow,I can tell you a few things, they pay .33 cpm to start and give regular raises 1/2 every 6 mos.,not the best pay but good pay for getting home everyweekend,he told me they get you in on Fri. or Sat. and you leave out Sun. or Mon.,from their safety rating I can see they run a tight ship. They offer a free medical clinic on Saturdays to drivers and their families. You have to leave your truck at terminal on weekends so you can have it washed and serviced. But they have like 4 terminals in tennessee,Pulsaki,Shelbyville,Brownsville, and Vonore (Knoxville),Will post more after I check out their operation tommorrow.

their insurance is pretty good, from what I here, the free medical clinic with a real doctor and pharmacy on Saturday is a good perk,no other trucking company anywhere has anything like that, shows they care about drivers

As a significant other to a present driver, I can tell you that the chances of being home on the weekend is slim to none at best, unless you fight or threaten to quit. once they have you out, they will push you to the breaking point. there is no more weekend clinic, they have taken away all perks, bonuses. It is obvious they do NOT care for the drivers that have been dedicated, hard working, safe. Apparantly, at one time, this was a very good company to work for, but as evidenced by the many that are quitting, things have changed for the worse and they don't seem to care. I would give some serious thought before hiring on...

yes i would agree with think twice before you go with titan transfer.their insurance is rediculios and costly, especially the deductables 5000 per person and it is 120 a week for family. No they no longer have their free clinic on the weekends and no matter how many years you have they only start you at 32cpm.you only get home on weekends if you push the issue.yes you get miles as long as youj kiss their butts and do every thing they ask or rather tell you.but if you get on their bad side forget it.well they run loose leaf if that tells you any thing but they only give you 30 a month. god help you if you should get hurt on the job the things ive heard is not good for the victom.yes up to three years ago they were a good company gave you bonuses for safety and other things the perks wre real good.but now you drive a 64 mph truck and yes they want the trucks on the yard but thats only for maintence not to have someone wash it for you thats a load of crock you have to do that yourself an they dont let you do that on the road.solos very rarely run california loads they have you run it so far then swap out with a team.unless your one of their butt kissers.useto you would get a nice gift a 50 dollar gift card from walmart and a nice dinner event now all you get is sorry you worked your butt off this year but were to cheap to show our appreciation unless your office personel.oh yea make sure you check out every trailer you drop or pick up because if any thing is wrong with it and you dont report it .the next person who reports it it comes back on you this helps them to get your safety bonus at the end of the year.also service failures count against your bonus.just be careful and do read the rules handbook if you do go to work with them because thier rules change to benifit them.to put it in a nut shell they are all about titan not the driver like it started out when tommy hodges first stated which is why he started this company (a place where drivers could retire happily at)thats a joke. well hope i helped thank you and good luck.

They expect their drivers to run when they don't have hours several times a week.
They have favorites that get the long runs and the rest get shotty miles.
They have cheap insurance but it goes thru blue cross first and then it takes four months for it to go thru the secondary insurance company and by then the medical facility is about to sue you.
Trucks are usually fair but they have a problem with driver dropping loads on drop yards with flats and etc. So when you go to pick them up you will have to get a tire fixed before you can leave. Sometimes it's lights out.
You don't always get two full days off and some times it's Saturday morning or afternoon before you get in. So don't plan anything for the weekend.
They don't want you answering the Qualcomm while driving but they are bad about sending messages while you are drving and then they bless you out for not stopping every time they send one.
They also ask for your cell phone number and use it regular. So if you work for them make sure you have plenty of minutes available.
