Ive been driving for about 7 months im out of dayton oh and right now im driving for a local company that is basically using me they took my routes after trying to convince me to take the on call position because of how great of a driver I am so they use me to run routes that have hard places to back in to or that have places they were not designed for trucks which means I may work 1 day a week now if im lucky enough that a driver goes on vacation which is why im looking back at TMC idk what it is about them but ive been wanting to driv for them since I graduated school I applied last summer right out of school passed all the background checks everything my recruiter didnt seem like he like working told me he would give it to the hiring department called back in 10 min said they said no and hung up the phone didnt tell me why the said no but for some reason I wanna try again so what do you guys know about the linehaul for drivers around the ohio area? What are they hauling? What areas are the going to? What is the pay looking like in linehaul? And any other info will be appreciated thanks guys

Have you made it readily apparent that you want more work at your current employer? Sounds like they're trying to run you off for some reason. Maybe, maybe not..
Usually TMC likes drivers in the I70 lane in Ohio. My fleet manager always said I was in a good spot 'logistically' for the freight lanes they use.
Being in Ohio there should be other companies, even flats, that would bring you on line haul. TMC is ok but not the only skateboard company out there...

Yeah, get with them again I would say since your info is there.. See it out to a definite yes or no..
In 04 (my start there) their training was very good, very thorough.. Nowadays it's a little more rigorous I hear..
Expect to be in training the full duration, both in Des Moines, and with the driver trainer and you will be just fine. You'll have all the time in the world out there on your own so a few weeks here and there training should not be an issue.
They purposely try and weed out the riff-raff.. Don't be riff-raff. -
I have thought about applying to TMC, anything I should know?
