I work for maverick and like them. TMC would be OK. Melton I don't know a lot about. I have heard some good about them, but I think they stay out 2 weeks. They have some nice looking equipment.

From the drivers I've talked to, the Maverick guys seem happiest. I hear good things about Boyd Brothers too.

I don't know about Melton. I hear good from Maverick drivers, and would have gone to them, if the flatbed div. hired in my area. Only specialized here though, and I will not do that.
I run into TMC drivers allot at places I pick up for back hauls. Also a few ex. drivers at the company I work for. They seem fairly happy. Though always looking for better, like most drivers. Almost all I have met stay with them for several years, so that is a plus. They seem to get there drivers home fairly often as well.
I know TMC will not allow dogs lol. Not sure on others, but doubtful. At least not without a big deposit.
I just got a dog to run with me. I got her 2 weeks ago, and will take her maiden trip on Monday. An oversize load to Maine. -

You must be at least 23 years old. Your hiring area, driving record, job stability, and job references must match up with Maverick's requirements and will be evaluated when you apply with us. -
i drove for tmc a few years ago, loved it. but something outside work happened, i had to leave... i now drive for maverick. they are good, but they are picky (in my opinion). ive heard alot of good about melton as well, i was going to go with melton, but was looking for more hometime.

Boyd Bros is often an overlooked company for flatbed drivers. I worked for them and they seem to be a top notch outfit. Good pay, hometime thats on par with their competitors, and good equipment. Overall I enjoyed my time with them, just came off the road for a local gig.
