OK I'm finishing up my driving school and have to decide between TMC and Maverick. Everything I know about these companies I have learned from these forums, the respective company websites/recruiters. The only negative thing I have heard on TMC is they are too strict, too much like military, etc. That does not bother me, I am prior military and like things to be in proper order. I have not heard anything negative about Maverick so far. I am looking for opinions from former or current drivers for these companies and what you like and/or dislike about them. Thanks for any info.
TMC or Maverick

I am in the same boat TNgreenhorn. I am trying to decide between the 2 also. I also am prior military and the whole being strict thing I dont mind and I actually kind of like because it will weed out people that are weaker I guess you could say. I have heard that there school is very good for learning how to F/B. I like there equipment but there trucks are a little slow, but hey you gotta pay your dues you know what I mean?

tmc will pay other drivers to narc you out on bad tarp jobs, and other things they think your doing wrong

There last post was from 8/26/2010...They probably decided by now...lol

Lol TMC didn't pay people to narc on you. At least it didn't pay very good. There where enough "chrome knee pad" guys narcing for free.

I had a guy rat me out one time because he seen me throw away what he thought was too full a bag of trash at a fuel island. I found out who it was. Next time I seen him, he had several serious securement issues on his load. I told him to get his ducks in a row himself before he went around narcing on people. He was really shocked that he got caught.
