I'm so a shamed, I drive a 600 CAT, automatic and pull triples and can't back or Blind side, (Is that the front?) I get mad if people park in fornt of me and throw tantrums and scream obscenities on the radio til they move with my 600 watt echobox. How do you shift a 5 x 4 with a 2 spd splitter???? How many Horsepower doe a 600 CAT have?? Do chickens have trucks?

There's a guy on youtube with videos of him backing up triples all the way across the yard.

I'm kind of confused how you can say this when you only have the experiance of one truck, a Freightliner and one transmision, not a 13 speed.

Im under the same impression that you should be able to go from one truck to another without any real hesitation, at my school, we have 2 Peterbilt379's, a Mack, a freightliner, and some others that dont hit the road much, so you should be taught to use them all, and we will use them all so we can see how they differ and such....just my 2cents:biggrin_25525:

I had to switch trucks alot when i drove. Took me a minute or two to get used to it, but after that i was usually fine.

Regardless, I'm not sure that whoever was training him was as professional as they should have been, I was also a trainer, and trainers need to have some type of patience. Yelling at someone and treating them like crap is going to make them nervous, when people get nervous they will likely do worse.

There was a DOT checkpoint ahead of them. They're all turning around to avoid it.

Speaking of I got a random Level 1 in the middle of Louisville on I-65 tonight. No violations, nice to have it under the belt and heading to the file.
