depends on what kind of tanker you want to do. liquid is a cakewalk, powder takes a little effort, lots of concentration and watching gauges hoses etc. either way you still handle hoses. try coastal in ft worth or andrews, they might bring you in.

? about TMC If you get a prehire from them does that mean your hired as long as you can pass the road test and drug test? I know some companys will say you prehired then they bring you in an start checking all your info then and turn you down.I see alot of good and bad about this company i guess i will just have to make up my own mind.Another ? can they get me home on the weekends like they say down here in GA?

Well I am sorry for the misunderstanding. I do understand the B.S. that they make you do. The instance I used about the guy dying was TMC's view on the what happened. When I was loading gypsum in silver grove KY, I talked to the other trucker that was there. He told me the forklift driver started unloading before he even got all the straps off. #### shame. Watch out for the pot smoking forklift driver.

You dont officially have a job until you get the keys to your own truck.

No problem, I could have replied better, but sometimes it gets frustrating when you go over and beyond the call of safety and someone new comes along and calls you out over safety. Esp when I over secure (no such thing really) and take the extra effort. I always go the extra effort. I don't want to worry about my load on the road. If I roll the truck I want it right where I put it.
In time you will find a lot of places have some goofy policies....
