My Husband worked for TMC last year ...his truck kept breaking down running lights trailor lights would not work , truck wouldnt start several times . We live 3 hours from their Joplin yard he would be stuck there for days on end No pay no substitute truck just partial pay for a partial load that he couldnt deliver. there were several times that he was Stuck in other states waiting on a load sometimes 2-3 days in a row then they weould just schedule him home instead of running him the weekend to make up for the days with out pay. he finally got a New fleet manager thinking that was the problem no the same thing happened. he was promised a $1000 sign on bonus when he got hired. He had some flat bed experience but they decided they wanted him to go out with a trainer for 3 days to be sure. SOOO when it came time for the $1000.00 sign on bonus he didnt get it , Oh yeah you dont get the bonus because we sent you out with a trainerm Which I think they did purposely to fall through a loop hole so that they didnt have to pay him. His buddy and he were hired at the same time Both left about the same time both for similar reasons. he also Mde friends during his orientation with 2 other fellas only one of those remains there still . When he put in his 2 weeks notice they got mad at him and wouldnt get him a load when they did give him a load it was for something that he couldnt do because he had told them weeks in advance he needed off for that day an appointment he had been waiting on for months SO they told him he had to leave or be fired he told him he had to be at this appointment and so they Fired him. After that he went to a Job running milk daily after he quit being paid 26c a mile he made more than he did at TMC at 43c a mile and was home every day .

You decided TMC was not for you. True TMC it's not for everyone or flatbed in general. For your information a TMC driver known as Pink moved as an Owner Operator to a well respected company in MO. Her performance there was outstanding. You as a driver decided to break the law try being an owner operator and control your own 150 mile deadhead 300-500 loaded miles. Learn the business first see if you can make $91,200.00 for the year as a TMC trainer or top $70,000.00 a year solo or $3,200.00 weekly owner operator settlement. Capt. Black TMC
