I do not know how soon is too early, I suspect in your case it is too early. I would wait until I started my CDL school or just before and then apply. In my case I had a Pre-Hire letter in my hand before I started school.

Knowing I wanna driver a truck and when I'll be ready to begin or I am starting my training school, or looking to enter a company program... No reason to not send those aps in now. To the company, it shows you're clear interest. To the average driver... It shows you're as foolish as we are!

Alright, two things here.
Ma'am, the ones who do like working for TMC have the right to counter what is said in the negative section.
On the other hand, gentlemen, there are no rules prohibiting drivers' wives from posting here. In fact we welcome wives, and my own missus is a member here.
So let's cool it down, huh? Nobody needs to feel like they are being chased off. -
TMC web site says "We have new drivers who have earned over $60,000 in their first year of employment!" I'd like to see non falsified log entries and pay check stubs for a moving snapshot of the last year's worth of new hires to see just how realistic this is. I say non falsified because I've always had to make my logs look right to avoid scale tickets and keep moving when my DM (not at TMC) refused to recognize that loads don't get loaded and unloaded on time. I imagine a $60,000 TMC new hire has to put down a lot of tarping time as part of a 10 hour break to make this work. Do 3% of new hires get this? Do the other 97% earn $42,000. I imagine that if TMC had a Werner style ignition logging and camera recorded tarping tracking no driver could make $60,000 their first year.

thats right ...60k yr and run legal?????? in theory it can be done but there's never been a truck that ran on theory...
-
They just left out the part about TMC being the party who actually got the 60k while the driver got about 35... Anyone expecting more than 35 their 1st yr is living in a dreamland.
-
My hubby heard today that TMC filed for bankruptcy, don't know for a fact but that is what he heard.
-
We still have no solid reason to think it has happened, but we've been hearing alot about it lately, as if it happened. I think the word would be out quickly if they did. -
it may or may not be true...one thing is for absolute certain.the drivers are always the LAST ones to find out.
