I have never really slip seated.... sure I would take another truck when mine was being worked on as a company driver. But I’ve had my own since 97, I don’t think I could do it.........

Good luck.... and if this doesn’t work out will you be classified as a job hopper...?

Do you take much time off? If you restart on the road you keep your truck. You have to hit 12k miles to get the bonus.

I hate the slip seat. Not that it 100% makes up for it but I like not worrying about my truck getting hit, broken into, or fuel stolen while on hometime.

When Covid first started I took the truck home for a couple of 34’s. They didn’t like that. lol

In past jobs I would stay out about 6 weeks then take 5 days off. That's probably how I will do this once I get caught up enough to afford 5 days off.

How hard is it to achieve that 12k miles in a month?

    LoSt_AgAiN Thanks this.

That depends on wether that run took 4 days or 8 days??? 4 days thats #### good money... 8 days well its not bad, but could be better.

I cant speak for TNI specifically... But if they can keep you moving with longer runs and alot of D&H loads 12k in a month should be pretty easily achieved... I very rarely run less than 12k a month with the company I'm at, last summer I ran between 14k and 15k three months in a row. But I got a little burned out, so decided to just try and keep an even steady pace of 12,500ish every month year round for 150k as an annual goal.

4 3k weeks are easily driven, the question is, are the miles available from TNI.

The company I just left, Bolt Express, was starving me the last 6 months with 2k or less weekly.
I hung on because I had hopes their freight would pick up. It was time to leave them, just not the way it happened.
