Crunches, squats, pushups (since I got my automatic it's been much easier), pullups. I keep a few weights also. I also like to walk or bike. Conway installed a rack for me so I could enjoy my bike. Makes getting veggies easier as I can bike to Wal-Mart and pick them up.

Well said. Many people never get used to it. It's a very rough lifestyle.

I've been homeless, slept in my truck months at a time, traveled the country, etc... OTR should be pretty easy for me.

It did not take me long at all to get accustomed to not wearing a tie at work.

Everyone's experience will be different. Much depends upon personal circumstance and experience.

No wife, kids and grand kids out of state... took about six months to find the groove.

Some people get used to it right away. Others never get used to it and give it up. Still others just get sick of it and leave the industry.
