Easy week this week. The salt mine is way behind on orders so they sent a few of us to help em out. Grabbed rock out of Eudora KS for Salina. Went to dump and my bed wouldn’t go up. So crawled under and unwedged a pebble from my PTO pump. Bounced to salt mine from there and they just have a stack of bills and say “just pick wherever you wanna go”. I did a Junction City KDOT came back and reloaded for Stockton KS which is where I’m staying the night, in the KDOT yard. I’ll dump this in the morning when they get here and head back for another salt round somewhere. What’s everyone else doing?

I’m sitting in Anniston tonight with a load of zorba, supposed to get pretty chilly here this evening. Trucks are piling in, luckily I’m 3rd in line so I oughta shuffle out early enough.

Well the gravy train continues. Running salt around Kansas. Dumped in Stockton KS went back for another one to Stockton KS. Went back and got one for Oakley KS. Got that dumped this morning and did 2 to Salina and then loaded for Atwood KS 30 miles north of Colby, which is where I am now. Dump in the morning and go from there. Anyone in the Midwest looks like our good run of weather is about to change dramatically the next few days. High in the teens and lows in the single digits.

Had a fairly normal week, couple loads up to Anniston, loaded out of SRR yesterday @NightWind where you and I went that day when they first opened and there was no way in hay we were getting up that hill. Either way, much better now and I came in off 269 I believe, that was some pretty running up through the back roads of AL. Have a good weekend all, see ya next week.

Well the cold weather and salt orders continue. And I think it’s only going to get colder, and...saltier. Kansas City was a proper mess Monday. My wheels were rolling leaving the yard and once I got out on 70 the right rear locked up. Then it started rolling. Then the left rear. Then it started. Then the right. I was going thru downtown KCMO and had no where to go. Flat spotted a tire. :( The shop had so much going on with everyone having trouble they said they’d get to it when they could. So I just went back home. By that time anyway there were so many wrecks and closures I never would have made Sedalia. So I started fresh Tuesday. Got rid of my scrap from friday, bounced to the salt mine and loaded for Russell KS which is where I sit now. Dump this and head back for more. How’s everyone else? @Trashtrucker1707 is the cold weather gonna reach you?

Dang the bad luck on flat spotting the tires @motocross25 i lived outside of Pittsburgh for a few years and did the exact thing on a bulk tanker, I felt pretty foolish but winter was completely new to me, everything else had released except that one set so I never knew until I saw the chords sparking in the middle of the night. The cold weather is supposed to dip down in to some of the areas I run, but I’m tentatively on some loads that are supposed to keep me running from north Florida down to south Florida, I’m preloaded with it now (fertilizer), we’ll see how long he keeps me on it.

What’s up fellow dumpers? Nothing exciting to report this week, I stayed below the cold weather for the most part, it caught a few of our guys on Tuesday and they got held up in AL for the day. Hope everyone’s well and staying safe. B12410CB-2D54-4CE2-9BAA-BBD6F8125BC3.jpeg
