Surprisingly well thanks for asking. I came wheeling in there about 7:03, scaled dumped and I was outta there by 7:20. I had a couple of heavy spots up 285 but nothing bad at all. I was kinda going opposite of traffic. Loaded my Tate, dumped in Ashland TN now im camped out in Calvert City KY waiting to load in the morning for Chicago. Yea it sounds like they are keeping you running that’s for sure. How’s that truck in comparison to the Volvo at climate as far as storage and bunk comfort?

This truck is a midroof, the volvo was a condo. Basically minus the upper bunk for storage. No storage up front. Got a closet in the back an top shelves down each side. Got some room at end of the bunk. Fridge on driver side which quit working. Microwave on top of that. Looked up fridges. Can get a microwave fridge combo that will fit perfectly for around 370 bucks. Boss said sounds like a good idea. Cheaper than a factory fridge. Just gotta figure out having it wired in. I suppose it could be run off a power inverter if we don't get it hard wired. So we're gonna see about that. He just bought the truck last summer an it really wasn't taken care of. The boss is having me work with a local shop when at home to get it slowly straightened out. So they diagnose an order parts an then fix it next time i am home. Kind of a pain, but i seem to be home every weekend an the money's good. Just keep oil an coolant in it. Long as it starts it will haul a load. When the other truck gets its motor put in then I'll be getting it.

Here’s a stupid question for you guys. How often do you have to get washed out? I imagine that’s a pain to find a place to get washed if you dump in a fairly remote area

    D.Tibbitt and motocross25 Thank this.

I don’t have to get a washout very often. If I go from glass or scrap metal to feed I’ll have to wash, but usually they try not to load feed after those products. Pre cast sand requires a clean trailer but a number of those places that load a “clean” product like that have a washout rack on premises or a fire hose where you can raise the bed up and shoot some water in from the back and get everything flushed out.
