to all end dump haulers...

Well fellas I have another trailer and I've decided ,Good Lord willing I am not going to buy another one.
I was contacted by an acquaintance who was in financial trouble and he offered me his equipment for the loan payoff. Several months ago I had looked at this trailer and a newer one like it but wouldn't buy them because they were priced higher than I felt they were worth in addition to being almost the same weight of the trailer I've been pulling. The numbers just didn't add up. So I passed on everything they had. Fast forward to 5 weeks ago I got a call. So here I am with a 2013 East Genesis, 40 footer, 102 wide with 60 inch sides,in decent not perfect shape. I'm having a few things changed on it but in the end I won't have even wholesale money tied up.
It's hauled some scrap and some coke from ABC in B'ham few dings and scrapes but it pulls great, dumps rock steady and it's paid for. It's longer than I wanted and I would have prefered a 39 foot, 96 on 102 but other than that it'll do as the told the pig in the Babe movie.Having a 'Woman door" installed along with a liner and a Aero slide back tarp. I have had a electric cable slide back tarp for over a year on the other trailer and I absolutely love them. No bows getting broken, no one loading over my tarp,and the bows don't rub holes in the tarp. A company i work with has them on all their trailers and have not had to replace the tarps in over 7 yrs. I like that idea.The one I am getting is about 95% water proof since I won't haul cattle feed I'm AOK with that. What do ya'll say?

 

I want some snow, it makes for great comidic entertainment for me!

 

I am hopeing a lot of those prime drivers end up upside down in a ditch tbh. Those MFs are getting REALLY bad anymore lol. Thin the herd of morons down a bit.

One of the cb-heads at work gave me his Galaxy 66 that he got peaked and tuned and lemme have it. It’s amazing to be able to talk to someone without seeing them. My old Cobra 29 wasn’t cutting it. Then again I probably had it all set up wrong. But I’m digging this one. And I’ve annoyed no less than 10 people today by accidentally having the “Roger beep” turned on. WINNING!!

 

I used to straighten mine out using the tires on the trailer as a "pipe" bender. LOL

 

Home from the salt mine and done for the week at noon! Can’t beat that. Hope everyone in here has a good thanksgiving!

 

Hope y'all enjoy your holiday as well, worked a pretty full day today and the traffic was hectic to say the least, looking forward to a few days off then heading back up to Sylacauga on Monday with lime and see what the week holds.
