I beg to differ, back in my moto days I took a few hits to the head that could rival that as far as stars go

 

I use to love coming in to Albuquerque at night, the lights from the stars rivaled the lights in town as you come off the hill<sigh> the good old days

 

Wrong kind of stars but fair lol.

Also jebus is it normal to do a transmission swap and your truck feel like it managed to gain around 200 torque and horsepower. They didnt change anything engine related but this truck got a lot more pep in her step, running at 80180 and shes moving like i only got 70k on. Still a sluggish pete but especially in the low gears she gets up and MOVES by comparison no more 0-65 in 10 miles lol.

Well gang the chains work AMAZINGLY well. There was a tanker and a flatbed in there throwing iron and I drove right on by, hit my button and CHIKKA CHIKKA CHIKKA right up the mine road. Reloaded my rock without incident and sitting in Pratt KS. Dump this in Independence KS tomorrow and then reload drag sand in Cardin OK for Ottawa KS. Which is good, then I can swing by @Arctic_fox place of employment and tell them he’s out here running outlaw.

But in all seriousness yea them chains are nice. I need to get a new set for my truck here soon. Ive been running these cheap chinese ones that came with it and havent been happy with them. I keep meaning to grab a full set of studded 8mm nordics. Absolute overkill and $1100 an axle.

That said the things are nearly unkillable though they do awful things to blacktop.

 

Been noticeing that too. Had one today open his doors going down the freeway to clean out his bed and send rocks skitteting all over. ####### owes me a new windshield. Which makes me even more annoyed because that window got replaced 4 days ago and it now has a nice big spiderweb across it. Plan to have it replaced while im visiting my parents for christmas since a local shop says they can squeek me in tomorrow.

Not sure what company since i slowed way down and couldnt catch up. He had a blue haystack with a pitchfork in it on his door over in chicago though if anyone has any idea.

 

....welp this happened. Sad thing id i literally had this serviced about month or so ago.
