What did you do out of Climax @Arctic_fox ? @Trashtrucker1707 how are things in Crashville?

 

Still up here lol. Got told they were 24/7 turns out they left at 2:45. Lost some time yesterday getting an axle checked and a bit today fueling up so its an am delivery at this point. Likely going to pinrose or florince after though.

On am unrelated note i gotta be careful up here. Just walking around has my head spinning. There is like dick all air X.x

 

@motocross25 Nashville just isn’t what it used to be, my sister has lived here for 20 years and I’ve been visiting since, it’s like a circus downtown. My parents live out of town about 30 minutes, much nicer out this way. I’d still like to settle in MO, don’t know if it’s in the cards though, the older I get the less I like crowds, I really desire a quieter environment, even the quiet town we live in in Florida has become a S show, seems to be happening everywhere.

 

Yea dude I live just far enough where I come up about 20 minutes short of making the mine. I stay at the scenic pull off area right before that exit. It’s like 8,000 something feet. And I can kinda get acclimated overnight. We had a few guys die up there staying the night so they really encourage us not to stay up there. I dumped 5 1/4 balls last time and spilled probably 10 and tossed them in the pit and when I stood up I got really lightheaded. It’s no joke up there for sure.

 

I agree 100%. My girlfriend’s mom lives in Nashville. Like right smack downtown. It’s cool and we can walk to like the American Pickers Store and that whole area but anytime we hafta drive anywhere it takes like an hour. I couldn’t live like that. I’m with you I’ll be 38 in 2 weeks and the older I get the more I want away from the hustle and bustle.

 

My dumb ### is staying right next door tonight lol.

That said ive spent many years in the mountains so i tend to adapt pretty fast. Usually feel fine after around 8ish hours though i always end up with a migrane for a few days afterwards unless i puff on one of those stupid air bottle things. Kills the migraine dead, no clue why though.

 

One of the guys that runs that regularly says the same thing he has a bottle or 2 of that Oxygen Boost and it helps with his headaches. I always try to sip on a Gatorade on the way out just to stay hydrated. It’s a pretty drive I love that going south of there along the gorge and into Salida. Last time I about ran off the road looking at sheep way up on a cliff and I spotted some elk wandering thru the trees.

 

Welp that sucked lol. Note to self. Never again start my day in hays ks and end it on climax.
