Well what you guys (and gal) have voiced here seems to be the general consensus. The rig looks alright but the windshield is lame. It seems to be advantageous, especially to us running around in quarries, having a split windshield. If we get rock chips and cracks we can just get a panel replaced. Not the whole thing. Which maybe Peterbilt struck up a deal with the windshield manufacturer for a kickback![]()

Pretty cool day today, waiting in line to unload some fertilizer I had a few Oakley trucks around me, everyone got out and started and chatting, one of them asked me “are you trashtrucker”, as it kind of took me by surprise, I said yes. Nice group of folks over there, neat to know people are reading this thread and finding it useful. Camped out tonight in Lake Park, GA headed for Woodbury in the morning, reload some granite rock and shoot for Plant City for Friday. Safe travels all.

Dakota rock unloaded and sitting at the house. They’re trying to drum up a plan for next week. Apparently Colorado got hammered with feets of snow, so they have grinding balls to catch up on, and people crying for salt. I would suspect I’m Rocky Mountain high sometime next week.

Went to a little town in GA today with fertilizer, Woodbury, don’t know if anyone was a walking dead fan but somewhere around season 2 one of the settlements ran by the “governor” was based on Woodbury, and was filmed close by in Senoia GA, fun fact for the day. The place I delivered to looked like it could be from a scene out of that show, what a dump!

Brisk fertilizer delivery this morning, followed up this afternoon by a trip to the shop to hopefully rectify a derate issue caused by a DEF tank not currently registering the 3/4 of a tank of DEF in there, oh the joys of clean air technology, too much of this and you’d be clean out of business!

Rainy day fertilizer down here in the not so sunshine state. Hate when it rains with this stuff on, I keep a good tarp but water still finds a way in, got it delivered relatively unscathed though, on to the weekend, hope everyone has a good one.
