I do get some popping. Especially if I’m loaded heavy and going around like an off camber corner. It’ll pop a bit. I hit my lift axle going around sharp corner to take pressure off the spread and that’s usually when I get it the most.

Because they just don’t give a ####. But heaven forbid you’re 1/8th of an inch too far away from where their majesty the loader wants you, but they can cram their bucket into your bows. I started swinging mine more especially at some places I’m not familiar with, but then I run into the problem that they don’t have the bows there for reference, and they load everything heavy to one side or another. I can’t win for losing dude. :(

Thank ya, que steve being annoyed i got ANOTHER emissions truck in 3....2 XD in all seriousness. Its a good little rig. Got a smokeing deal on it too. Value is around $70-90K due to the factory wet kit and all the upgraded parts as well as the insanely low miles for the year but i got it for $62K.

Talked em down from 70 because the hood had someone back into it and cracked it. Its also got a small dent in the fuel tank. But the motor is good. Interior save for 1 missing emblem and some wear on the arm rest is immaculate and i knew the dude who owned it abet only in a "i reconize that truck because its at nucor all the time" way and have the full service record for the rig. Hell i have the factory order sheet and recipts for wiper blades lol.

Only 1 previous owner too. Should be rock solid.

Unloaded my preload this morning in Newton, KS and then loaded salt for Sedalia MO. I got to the salt mine and I was the only truck there so my thoughts immediately went to “great they’re broke down”. Turns out I just got lucky. Checked in, loaded and tarped in <15 minutes. Came home and dumping Sedalia tomorrow morning the reloading apples back to my hometown, have a good chance of being home tomorrow night too. What’s everyone else doin to start the week?

Just curious, are you back with the same outfit as before?

I’ve always thought about pulling an end dump if I ever want to come home more. There’s RL Hanna basically at the end of my street and I don’t think they do much salt. Mostly aggregate from what I’ve seen. Maybe I’m wrong though.

I’m at Bones in Ottawa. And loving it. Easily the most laid back place I’ve ever worked. You are right tho, used to RL Hannah just kept the guys around who wanted to be around for the winter to piddle about with salt, and those who didn’t I think they ship down to Texas and run em a week at a time, they have some intrastate gig down there. That was years ago I heard this, so I can’t swear to that’s what they do anymore, or even ever did. But they have some old equipment that looks really sharp they take care of their stuff the way it looks to me.

I don’t mind at all. They did some figuring and realized their local division wasn’t profitable at all. (Which is no surprise with cheap quarry rates and running high dollar equipment) And went back to their old model of road drivers being out 2 weeks at a whack. With me having my daughter every weekend, unfortunately that didn’t line up with my needs. Good people, great equipment; just schedule conflicts unfortunately.
