I dont know about you folks but when that trailer is up in the air and swaying in the wind. My ### always goes to pucker factor 11. I hate dumping when its gusting that heavily. Then again after my one trailer went over im absolutely parinoid. Dont care that it was a snapped weld. Any weird sound or movment and i get twitchy now lol.

Dumped last year some time as a tropical storm was moving in, definitely on top of the list of my least favorite things to do. All you can do is try to get that wind in your face or at your back and hope for the best.

That wind was a real SOB but I got super lucky. The bins at the landscaper in Claremore had my back against the wind. So I just shot it up real quick and set it down. The port had me load fertilizer next to a building which was blocking the wind so no trouble there. I was dreading my fert delivery cuz that sucker standing up in 50 mph wind gusts while I’m trickling product out the grain chute usually doesn’t bode well with me. I got to some huge farm in Pittsburg KS and they had huge hoop building. I backed all the way in tripped the tailgate and let er rip. This was about 2:30 and my reload closed at 3 and I was like 30 minutes away. They said no problem, bring it. Reloaded bushelings headed for TX. Loader guy said I could watch my gauges but he can usually get it pretty close. Hit the scale 80,020. Heading a bit west of Dallas, @Arctic_fox what in your experience do you guys drag back up from Texas?

If you ever wanted to know what 23.61 ton of bushelings look like; it’s this.

Brought that mess to Brewton AL a few years back, not the worst load but slow to unload.

Lol i just did that bushling load, its pretty good. And they usually either bounce you up to OK for gypsum, over to AR for rock or over to NM for a diffrent rock. Sometimes local mines in TX just depends on who has and needs what.

Ball field dirt out of Oklahoma brought me back up into familiar territory. If the place I picked up at had cameras on their haul road I bet I was a sight to behold bagging a trailer in 45 mph winds. And if that camera had audio, a feast for the ears to be sure, as I was definitely saying some things I wouldn’t say in front of my grandmother.

A trick ive found helps with that is bricks. I carry a half dozen in my truck just for bagging in the wind.

That’s one thing I’ve never had to do working here, lining trailers. Doesn’t look fun.

This is a great idea. I saw some stacked up by the building on the landscaping side of the yard, maybe I’ll ask if they’re spoken for. Thanks!

It isn’t bad it doesn’t take 5 minutes. But in the wind at one point I had plastic around, on, and over me. I looked like a world class dip#### but that’s nothing new.
