I had to load sunflowers the other day at Jefferson SD. Stopped on I-29 at exit 2 at North Sioux City. Went to the little truck stop there across from the Casey's with the casino in it. Stay away from trying to get a shower there cuz they just suck!!! Ya gotta dang near cling to the wall to even attempt getting wet an rinsed off. Showers were only like eight bucks but it really wasn't worth the price of admission! Lol
to all end dump haulers...

@Trashtrucker1707 are you finally going to be able to experience all the snow fun that @Arctic_fox and I get to, or how’s your forecast looking down that way?
-

I did rock from Ottawa to Topeka, then haydite to Emporia now I’m hanging out for the night and load feed salt in the morning for Fort Morgan CO. Looking forward to stretching my legs out a little and hopefully only seeing the salt mine once this week.

No sir, I’m staying south, there’s no sense in us fussing with that stuff, I imagine I-10 up in the panhandle, which is our major route back, is going to be an absolute mess, if not closed. Running local this morning and will pre load asphalt going around Tampa for the morning, yall be safe.
motocross25 Thanks this. -
Looks like im heading to colorado as well. Got a load of salt going somewhere. The address they gave me is going to an appliance store in a no truck area in downtown denver and is entirely diffrent then the name of what they gave me.
So ill need to verify it in the AM where im going because ill need to decline that load if its correct. Im not sure i can get a 72 foot truck into an area that bans trucks over 20 feet and above 5 tons or under a 9 foot 2 bridge with an 11'6" rig from the other direction. Much less back into a lot down an ally with no room to back into off a narrow 1 way road. YeshD.Tibbitt and motocross25 Thank this. -
It’s not coming out of Kanapolis is it? At Pavlich we would take palletized bag salt to downtown Denver and it’s almost exactly how you described and it was a pain in the ***!! You had to back down and alley and thru traffic, it was right by the convention center if I remember right.D.Tibbitt Thanks this.
-
It is and it might be there but i doubt it. I think the address is wrong. Its physically imposible to get my rig in there. You either go over a 5 ton bridge or under a 9 foot bridge. The only place i could dump if i could even get in there would be the middle of the road besides.
But we will see in the AM. Im not worried either way.motocross25 Thanks this. -
Ok then you’re right. It’s all starting to come back to me. If I remember right, That is the billing address, the delivery address is different, but still downtown.

Don't worry they get trucks in there all the time
RockinChair, motocross25, Arctic_fox and 1 other person Thank this.
