Weathers supposed to blow through my area later today, hopefully not with the severity it hit the Midwest with though. The band is smaller but still potentially packing a punch, currently under a tornado warning until 3PM.

 

I did and thanks again for your help. I went up to OKC for ball dirt and took that to southern MO, then brought glass up,l to KC and did some local haydite loads and pre loaded dryer sand early Friday morning for a school in Norman OK. He’s already got me more ball dirt out of Viola comin back to Topeka. Stuff really seems to be opening up finally with the weather breaking. How you making it where you been at?

 

No problem. That one is a lil tight in the bin but nice and easy otherwise. And they routed me home for a couple days then have had me bounceing around the upper central u.s been doing a lot of gravel and sand which is a relief. I needed the work and BOY am i glad i had as much in savings as i did. Having my green truck explode tk the tune of a 100k repair right after dropping 25k on it. Having to buy the new one, then paying 8k to have it cleaned up mechanically to get it back in service, several big ticket issues even with warranty a ton of downtime AND the lack of loads all within 3 months of each other pretty much drained the accounts lol.

I delivered Yeast in Flagstaff Az yesterday. Picking up in Carlsbad NM on Monday. Camped out at Moriarty NM. I'm outta stuff to do and a little bored.

 

Been a busy few days! Last week especially. Ill kind of “cliffs note” it to get back on track. I was in Colorado came back and went to Oklahoma and loaded fertilizer Friday. Unloaded that today (Monday) in northern MO and then got shredded steel in Omaha for eastern Iowa which is where I sit now, waiting to unload in the morning. 9 months in at Bones and this is the first scrap load I’ve hauled so I’ll chalk that up as a winning ratio. Get glass to go back to KC with tomorrow. What’s everyone else doing?

 

I made it to Kansas from New Mexico. Gonna deliver in morning. Then load wheat into Kansas City. Reloading near there someplace on Wednesday an heading home. This is week 4 an I'm ready for some time at the house.

 

Waiting for these folks to show up so I can shake this fertilizer off then head up for some rocks going back home this evening if all works out.
