I've never heard that. I've heard 200k but I can't say that I've ever read the book. That's what I go by and I've never had any problems.

A regen doesn’t completely clean the DPF.

How do you bake it ?

At 400F for 20 minutes like cornbread ?

will it fit in a regular oven ?
I know guys that use regular ovens for baking their powered coated items

Throw it in the hot tub and call it good.

Take it to V and L in Fontana. They will completely clean it without baking. They have a solution called “The Dip”. It will disolved every bit of soot in it. And a fraction the cost compare to baking.

Wash it out with a pressure washer.
I have over 400,000 on mine and when it tells me it’s time that’s what I’m gonna do.

Regen catalyzes the soot out but the ash stays. Its the ash that eventually reduces the DPF's capacity since it can't be removed from a regen.

So????? I know about the ash but what about the pressure washer!?!? The shop near me advertise DPF Cleaning but when I asked about it, they told me that they send the filters to someone else that cleans them or tells you you need new ones. If I google it it tells me it’s around $200 bucks and I should consider it when I change my oil to add it to maintenance. This is my first truck with it and I’m just wanting some none BS REAL answers….Anybody?….Anybody??…
