I think @Knightcrawler rig looks like a much better option for you than any Cascadia money could ever buy. I have bought cheap on a number of occasions, and if you intend to run it full time, it’s just not worth it. You can pay a lot up front, and pay a little for ongoing maintenance, or, you can pay the absolute minimum, drop thousands in maintenance, and still have a ragged out POS. I have done both, and I know which was more stressful for me! Unless you only work part time, and are very handy with tools and mechanics, I would decidedly NOT buy that 20k Cascadia. You’d be better off with an ‘80s-90s era solid steel truck, they are worth rebuilding, a plastic truck isn’t.

You're better off buying the cheapest truck you can find that fits your needs then plan on a rebuild of the power and drive trains and expensive emissions components. Repair it when it breaks.
Buying from a failing OO is no better than buying from an auction. It's too easy to falsify records and DOT inspections are a joke.
I'd be more worried about sourcing a contracted source of well paying freight because the spot market is just going to eat you and your equipment alive anyway without it.edmachi Thanks this. -
