Truck next to me is Barr Nunn. Man and wife parked and left for somewhere. Gone over an hour now maybe cracker barrel.
Coleman Allied just spun around in front of us and scuffed the bumper. Barely noticable. But he left. The M F just left. Hightailed it right outta here no looking back.
I did manage to get a picture of the trailer and the trailer number so he can be tracked.
If I leave before the absent drivers return should I leave them a note?

    Kyle G. Thanks this.

I’d definitely call Barr Nunn to let them know what you saw and to tell them to notify their driver his truck got bumped. It would save the driver a lot of grief if he has to explain how those scrapes got on his bumper

i'd not bother, frankly, some Armor-All can "color" it back.

had it been a torn off hood, then yeah, i'd leave them the note.

that above type of damage could be done anywhere, anytime.

I doubt that he could feel it...
But it made a loud scraping sound and he was going slow so it lasted a minute lol.... he knew. He knew I knew.

    Coffey and tinytim Thank this.

I would give the info to the barr Nunn driver and let him handle it however he wants. If it was me, I would surely appreciate it.

I am of a different opinion because I had this type of damage happen to me several times where I know someone saw it but decided to keep quiet and protect the other driver. When I first started my company in 2010 I had 2 trucks damaged in the same week and I was livid. I am a super duper picky person.

I would make the call. That way the owners/drivers of the damaged unit won't be stuck with a damaged front fascia and no explanation for it.

Lonesome, plankton, Coffey and 4 others Thank this.
