Those lights look great but are simply more trouble than they are worth. I already have enough work to keep up with.

I say just take your time with it, get your reserve account back to a figure your comfortable with and then when the time is right make a project out of it.

I think they look good on trucks and it separates you from all the "plain jane" trucks out on the road...

I have to fix some amature electrician’s work every once and awhile. Cut all this junk out of a trailer last week to get the strobe lights working. Not a single thing was sealed, the (still functional) switch was bypassed, if you wanted the lights to work both lights had to be plugged in, but they worked all the time. 7C1D15A6-D176-452D-9859-FE814E406A44.jpeg

I just have some 4” round lights up under the truck and a few rock lights off a Jeep on mine, still get the amber glow but I can do it in 6-8 lights instead of 30

If you are a "buy the cheapest, do zero maintenance, run it til it
quits, than buy another one" operator than lights are a waste.

If you are a buy the "best, keep up the maintenance, run the truck for years"
operator than I think some tastefully installed lights can look good.

For me personally I like seeing clean O/O trucks with lights, etc. In today's
world of mega carrier/junk trucks that NOBODY feels good about it is refreshing
to see a truck that the owner/driver obviously feels good about. I do also agree that
if the lights aren't done right than leave them off.
