check out the ltl companys around indianapolis they are all short handed right now and they tend to pay well plus you can get insurance and be home everyday you should not have to start from scratch as long as you have had driving in the past they will only send you out with a trainer to do an evaluation on your skills and see if any work is needed
to drive or not to drive that is the question

Dude, sorry to hear about mother in law. Ill be praying for her. This is a decison you are going to have to make on your own. If its what you think is best then do it. Im guessing but sounds like u already made up ur mind. Go with that decision in peace. Hope she gets better.

It matters whether the OP has been out a FULL 3 years, in which case his past experience falls off his DAC. That happened to me after I took 18 months off. Made it MUCH more difficult but I did have 10 months showing (within 3). I hooked up with Gordon in order to update my driving. A good (and bad) decision. Good = safe place to park CDL, great driver support, excellent equipment. Bad = pay.
At the very least he needs to be able to verify (prove) his experience. I think he'll find something local within his salary goal ($16/hr). -
Op
Conway has a refresher in Indy can't give you details on it but its a 247 decent sized yard by the airport

Dude go back and look at your DAC I don't no who told you that WRONG INFO ABOUT YOUR DAC just don't repeat it again NOTHING EVER FALLS OFF YOUR DAC it's not like your mvr your difficulty came because you were out of a trk 4 two years trucking companies frown/don't jump 2 hire if you been out of trk 4 2 years or more your past experience is always there they choose not or to use past experience I imagine you don't get copies of your DAC every year by your comment dude u need to go to HIRERIGHT.COM and fill out form and u will see they got your driving record in there from your very first ticket and trucking companies may consider your past experience depending on why u been out trk for 18 months I been out trk for 14 months caz of injury the company I plan 2 work 4 said they will count my 2years but I will have 2 go out 4 couple weeks before I get my own trk
