The only truck I ever drove that didn't have a fan switch was a company truck, but we put one in it when I started driving it.

Without a doubt, barring some kind of obstruction preventing me from doing so. Gotta preserve that almighty flow of traffic

That’s for older cars and RVs that had radiators that were less efficient. The AC transfered the heat to a smaller radiator that was literally in front of the main radiator. The new trucks we got can cool off from 225 to 175 in minutes once the big fan kicks on high so honestly doesn’t make a difference if you got it on or not just the fan will kick in more often if you have it on.

My truck goes from 225 to 175 in less than 30 seconds and it’s 20 years old.

We gotta be talking OLD to have to turn the ac off.

I never flip the fan switch except before I park for the turbo. The truck should take care of that for you.

    FlaSwampRat Thanks this.

Well, younguns, 1st of all, we never had a/c, and 2nd, with 238 horsepower on tap, you would have to turn it off to get over the hill, without going to the low side,,:biggrin_25523:
