To the NYC Drivers…. A couple questions…

I would guess the sign means what it says.Why would it concern you if you’re not running an over height load?If you are 13,6 or under your not over height.

 

The signs says Over 12’7”

 

I don’t care what a clearance sign on the BQE says your not an over height vehicle if you’re 13 feet 6 inches tall on any interstate in the country.The BQE is I 278 a legal truck route in NY.The digital information board that was posted here on this postsays over height vehicles must exit doesn’t say anything about 12 7

 

I’m guessing you haven’t read this entire thread...And the only sign I’ve mentioned is the 30+ year old Atlantic Av exit sign that still says 12’7 exit,.,,
No one has disputed you can run thru there at 13’6.....and I ran across there the first time back about ‘73 or 4
