Did all those drivers that were stuck in Buffalo clear all the snow and ice off their Trucks AND Trailers before continuing along their haphazard Trips??

By the off chance you get stuck up there again and there's a lake effect storm you could could take this way. Some nice 2 lanes, but if I wasn't paying tolls I'd probably just do what you did.

Run down 88 from Albany to 17w and get off in Nichols exit 62, you can see the dandy truck stop from the exit. Turn left off the highway and follow NY282 for 1/2 mile and turn right on PA187 and follow it to Wysox. Then take 6W, 220s to 414, 14, 15.

Nice scenic pa ride. Not very many hills either. And some good spots to eat along the way.

Could run up to Sayre and just take 220 but lots of ####### dot on that road. They set up in a few spots
