To TQL

I have called ITS and they couldn't care less. Kinda understand. But when I got a call from some VP after complaining and got that "industry norm" BS I gave up.

 

They had a flatbed load posted from Champaign, IL to Minn, MN. It was actually Indy (90+ miles east) to Albany, MN (west of St. Cloud - 90 extra miles). Just snapped and said sick of your games and hung up.

 

I had a long talk with someone high up about a month ago we did $64,k first year we started hauling for them and $50,k the following year so for the past 8 months we stoped hauling loads for them every time we start looking for a load someone calls from tql I'm just sick of the games most the time they won't even give me the address they say get the driver to call me my guys know I'm not going to dead head 100 miles unless it pays well so when drivers started calling saying the load picked up in the next state I lost it
I can't stand brokers more everyday now that the news is saying fuel is going down bam so has rates tql was offering loads at $1.62 a mile from Memphis,tn last week going into Akron,Oh I run that lane all the time at $2.50 a mile when I told tql that he said I was a lier I told him I move freight sometimes at $3 a mile he said they didn't have anyfreight that pays that and hasn't seen any in the two years he been there
Way to go TQL looks like y'all are the bottom feeders

 

They are absolute liars because we ship 30% of our freight out of Memphis at 2.40+/mile. They actually called me the other day on one of my trucks I was trying to get back to Jackson, TN an tried to get me to send him to PA instead for $3 a mile. Does me no good when his reload is in Jackson... #########.

 

I also have complained about TQL with the same problems as you all are having. I got the same response from ITS as every one else has I even tried another board and it's the same crap. If I see a load and it's with TQL I don't even call and if they call me to haul one of their loads I quote them a high rate at $3 per mile. I usually get I don't have that much in it and I tell them that's not my problem and hang up. Some times they will accept my rate and make it worth hauling the load. I think if we would all stick together like the Union workers do and stop hauling this cheap freight things would change, but you have too many company's like TMC, Maverick, and others that will haul it for nothing. Us small companies and O/O out number those companies and we could make a difference because those bigger companies only have so many trucks and they can't haul it all.

 

Let me also mention they are notorious for booking a load and then finding a truck to do it for less then call you and cancel the load on you. You wouldn't believe all they BS they do.

 

Sound like CH Robbinson lost the title for worse of the worst!
