Your current transmission and rearends may not be rated for more power and torque anyway, as someone else mentioned. You just had it overhauled. I would just run it and be happy if it's a dependable truck.

For torque rating what would be a good transmission I run local / regional friends say a 13 because I don't want all the gears but I want the highest or beat torque rating . Is there high torque 13 or am I going to be looking for a 15 or 18 spd tranny ? For torque

stupid question, why not just have the tq set to 1850 or 2050??
if you run regonall i would run with a 13 -

it more then just the trans it the drive shaft, rear ends, suspension, you really need to understand your truck was not built for big power. Plus your cutting engine life by 200000 miles with high power setting. 90% of trucks are set like your's. Makes me ask why you need all this power? Trucking is not a race nor will you make any more money with a more powerful engine then the next guy. Just my 2 cents a total waste of money you have a very nice truck that you are going to waste alot of money on to have zero return to your pocket this why most trucker have no money in there pocket. Plus lost of fuel mileage.
