You're welcome. I called Swift to get someone out to fix the flat inside tire, since whoever dropped it failed to do so. And I don't even WORK for Swift!

    scottied67 and inkeper Thank this.

I got a weedwhacker on the fritz....can ya help me with that while you're at it??:biggrin_2552:

Actually, unless the tire was blown and not just flat, you can't really tell if it was left that way, especially with it being at a recycling facility. Stuff does happen. But I agree...nothing more aggrivating then picking up a trailer with a flat tire.

    scottied67 Thanks this.

    'That guy' ?
What about the gal... the girl... the woman?

    And 'That whatever'?

Please, tell me you are the only one that has never run a load with a slowly going flat tire - that has not dropped it when scheduled to get to that next 'must be there' load so you could make your next 'whatever' payment on time - only to leave it for the next driver.

    Or, maybe done something else?

As far as I know there is only one perfect human.
None of us on this earth is Him.

So I'm 'that' guy because I did my best to ensure that another driver didn't have to sit and burn his 14 waiting to get a tire fixed? Sounds like YOU might be 'that' guy. The one that sees it and leaves, chuckling to himself while thinking about that Swift driver that gets a smaller paycheck that week because of not having an MT to go get the next live load.

Wow, try to help someone and get called out for it. No wonder trucking is what it has become.

By the way, the bead was broken on both sides so it had to have been moved while flat.

Yeah it's not just this thread. Anyway you're still that guy. Not enough to just call and get it fixed? Had to seek congratulations on it. Weird I guess to me. But I'm sure that one person appreciates it, did you leave a sticky note on the trailer telling him/her what you did?

No sticky note. I posted here to generate awareness and perhaps motivate others to 'pay it forward', not seek congratulations. That you would automatically attribute selfish motives to another individual whom you have never met tells me what kind of person you probably are.
