Isn’t that the typical response lol. Meanwhile it was probably a box truck, but hey a truck right?

Tough break bro.. i hate backing up off the street , even us flatbedders have to do it too sometimes.. i usually get somethin like that once or twice a month more if i got to LA.. best advice i can give is dont worry about blockin the road and the people gettin mad.. my horns alot louder than theirs and im ready to fight if they want.. think i give a ####...

Use google maps to your advantage. Sattelite view will tell ya which way u need to be to setup. I had a tough blindside back off a busy 4 lane street in LA last week. It happens.. i got out and blocked traffic for the other driver before me so he could get in a little easier. Nobody did the same for me. Its expected, just do the best you can with what ya got to work with.. its hard to say what id do in your situation as im not there, but backing up into those dark holes is not easy thats most of time in flatbed when we back up its into a warehouse thats dark.

I always set up for it and get out and look to where im backing inside the warehouse and see if theres anything im gonna run over. Only because ive been in your exacr situation.. Ive even had the warehouse dudes get mad at me for that, but they dont realize i cant see them in my mirrors because its to dark.. of course cars in the road may get mad and honk too. I dont care, honk til ur hearts content they can suck my dick when theyre done honking.. they can continue on with their miserable lives after i get done backing

I had this one last friday.. red line is where i needed to get into. The flatbed in there had a real hard time backing out to say the least. PXL_20250801_155235688~2.jpg
