Today I start my journey to get my CDL! Wish me luck! Any tips are appreciated!! So excited!

Frankly in most cases, the schools don't care.. the schools need you to have combination vehicle and general knowledge.. all the others to them are really stuff they don't want to deal with because it holds some people up..... A LOT! We required people to have their permits before they showed up. It wastes a lot of training time if you have to wait on some boneheads who cannot read or have learning disabilities.. it does not good for people who don't have these issues

 

definitely make sure you drive both the 10 speed and the automatic trucks(you dont want the automatic only restriction on your license)
