Any one know if there is a toll on Interstate 35 from the Texas state line to the Kansas state line?? Looking to stay on the interstate and avoid the "running round the toll" game. I cant quite see where the toll is at unless right there in OKC.

Get your atlas out.I think there is a toll road and a nice hwy along side of it you can take to avoid the toll. Its been awhile since I taken that route so u need to look at the map.

The only toll road I am familiar with is the Will Rogers and that is I-44? But it has been so long that I have been through that area, can't say much else.

No toll going up 35 until you hit KS. If want to bypass Toll on 35 in KS you can run US 177 a few miles before get to KS and run that to US 81 up to Wichita. And depending which way you going after that you can run I-135 North to US 50 to i-35 in Emporia up to Kansas City. I-35 from Emporia to KC is not a toll road.

Thanks everyone, been a while, like 15 years since I have run in this area, kind of forgot over the years what was tolled, thought there was a piece in OKC that had a toll, I am loading in Laredo going to Salinas, Ks. and then to Denver, if all I have are the tolls in Kansas its all good.

Me as well. In fact, I pulled out my 1999 Rand and saw where the Will Rogers tollway changes name along the way, but of course it is still I-44.

I talked to a friend of mine who said they pulled one or two (maybe more) toll booths out and combined them and now have less stopping to pay tolls, I guess thats progress...or so they say.
