No way 30 is an hour faster. Did they take out some lights or move some towns?

Ok maybe if you are talking running 30 at night its possible? But if you run it during the day, don't forget about all the traffic and how many times you get stuck sitting at one light.

Exactly why I said to run 20. I've run both many times and 30 is a PIA most days. You'll hit every light no matter what speed you run. Who cares about the 2 lane it's good running. I always make good time across 20. Not to mention all the cops on 30 just waiting to prey on the trucker cash cows.

You guys are thinking about the few miles up near Perrysburg in Ohio that run fairly smoothly on US20. In Indiana, the towns on US20 have spread out, they all have stoplights and very low speed limits. There's only two large towns on US30, that tend to concentrate the lights. And the cops? What cops? Ohio and Indiana no longer have the cash to pay them. You might see one or two.

US30 is a superior route these days by far.

Let me say thank you to all who offered their routes for the trip...but it has been canceled! Turns out the generator with the chassis grosses at 73,000 so it is going by rail and heavy haul company once it gets to Jersy.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Les and I agree you disagree. No big deal.
