Tolls On I-81 Update-$55 Dollars For Trucks To Travel The Entire Length If It Passes

To be honest they can toll everything it will not stop or slow the massive traffic of the Nation that will go through there. There is simply no alternative other than to hit Kentucky and West Virginia as bypass and even then it's not worth the fuel burn, they will pay the 55 and be done with it. Write it up to cost of doing business.

 

And the people in the northeast will ultimately pay for it in high costs of goods as these costs get passed on to the northeastern buyers. But I suppose it’s a two way street. Texas will just have to buy their pies somewhere else.

 

I remember several years ago when VA tried to toll I 81 to make it a 6 lane road the whole length. I wished they had went ahead with it. I 81 is a PITA everyday during the day, before and after a holiday, and after a VT game. That s one road best to be ran in the late night early hours if possible
