Well my wife bought me a TomTom Via 1535, i know they dont make a truck version, searced the web, found different stories from 4-wheelers. Does,,,, or,,, has any one tried this in a truck. I do know that this is a loaded question, so i am go to answer all the questions that are bound to come. I all ways use a MAP regardless and, I all ways call to get directions to were i am going. The only reason i have ever used a gps is mainly for the mileage, and to find names on local streets at night. There are all ways hard to see. It's mainly just a back up, and a last resort if i get really, really, really lost.![]()
TomTomVia 1535 Any suggestions

What do you mean by banning? ,,,,,,,,,as in cannot have at all. Thanks -
More trucker hyperbole maybe? -
That was my first thought...... -
I wouldn't have a car gps in a truck. Better no gps at all.
Think about height restrictions, road and bridge weight restrictions, not to mention banned roads.
Where's that thread where the driver was sent to jail pending a hearing on the $12,000 in fines for driving on a road with weight restrictions! -

Mark, looking at is NOT the same as enacting legislation.
-
I should have worded - are looking into banning.

like i said,,,,,, i am not totaly ignorant of all the restrictions, i will and always do....... check my directions, including calling and geting local. My question was basically how accurate are the local street directions. And if their were any experiences with this unit.
