You make some good points. I hadn't thought of that. You may get lucky at the mom and pop in LaPlace, or if you're east New Orleans, maybe Slidell, but you're definitely right. Parking is very minimal. Knowing myself, I probably wouldn't have even crossed into Louisiana if I could help it. They were talking about that storm for quite a period leading up to it.
