    Who sets the appt times?

For one load, I'm regional so I run shorter distances, it was from chicago to maryland in one day. I think it was 720 miles.

But then coming back, from jersey to ohio, 500 miles, the appt was not for 48 hours! and then another day to run another 500 miles!

Those appointments should have been much closer together. Does the shipper set those times?

Most times the receiver sets the time.

Customer Service can get them bumped sometimes. You just need to ask your DBL.

So a terminal supervisor or president of the company? Good luck. I'd just pack my stuff up and have a rental car reservation. They can make more promises, but that is just too much down time.

Avis and Budget are best for one way rentals. You'll have to book from airport to airport and make sure you get unlimited miles with no drop fee. Don't try packing all your stuff on a bus. If you can't rent a car, pack your stuff up in boxes and ship by UPS or USPS.

edit: I just noticed you don't have a year yet. You may need to work with them or be careful about switching companies.

Check airfares too - I've found that air travel is frequently less costly than a one-way rental.

I was thinking of packing a tv, refrigerator, computers, inverter, microwave, power amplifier, xbox, etc. That's why a car or truck rental works best for those living in a truck if they need to move.

This was one of the points I brought up yesterday. The lady from CS said it's the customer's choice and usually depends on when they ship/receive at their docks.

That is why the pow wow session. My feeling is that if you're gonna b#### about something take action to correct it first. If that don't work then fire off at the mouth all you want.
And I am not a quitter so I will try to make it work until it proves futile.

LMAO..... I do the same thing sometimes. Even with the DOT my IQ has been known to plummet to re-tard.

I usually go the opposite of you though, with customers.

I go in apologizing for being so late. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it don't.

    Sometimes....working smarter means "dumbing down".

Same here ex con I usually get 34 every weeked at home and still average 2800 miles per every 70. My planners do a awesome job of reloading me with a 1200mile reload back home so thats how I start off my new week. Like my house is 800 miles I get here Sat late noon n Im gone monday by 5am to So Cal to drop it then reload back to Nor Cal where I drop then reload to any state in the 11 regional n by thursday night Im at new drop loc with a reload back to Nor Cal for fri morning. So if Im 1200 miles from home on a friday morn u know what that means...I get paid! I love my people!
