In some cases, with larger carriers, the solution is as simple as just changing to a different driver manager. Some DMs have a better relationship with load planners than others, thus, they can get a better or longer run for their drivers than other DMs.

Husband and I BOTH are almost getting a 34 waiting at a receiver!! Smiths/Kroger in Tolleson, AZ... Been here now for over 18 hrs and STILL not backed up to a door!! Gary will have his 34 in one hour, mine will be in 13 hours... Sigh...

Believe me, we have tried the deliver early trick (I may be a woman and a Pee Wee but I ain't that dumb). Only worked once. I'll keep y'all posted as to how we roll now since my pow wow. My bet is on hard for.a.few.weeks just to calm me.down then back to the same old same old. We shall see.

Most recently, a bud of mine raised cane and got a dedicated run. 3 turns a week...from his hometown and back.
Lasted a month. He got up one morning, and they decided he was an OTR driver again. He quit immediately...but it took another month for him to get back to work.Red Hot Mess Thanks this. -
