Last time I checked, I was in the real world. Lowering my expectations is one thing I do not do. Maybe you should raise yours and quit settling for less.

I did not get on here to get into a bunch of arguments with everyone. I was just asking for the names of some decent companies to go drive for. It does not sound like there are any.

No they are not union. The company just tries to look out for their employees and treat them like human beings.

The bottom line for the large companies is $$$. They dont care about you or anyone else. Just keep your mouth shut, haul the freight and be happy while you make "Us" the big money. Sounds like someone I want to work for. Yeah, right.

We have all seen the movie "Convoy" rubberducky68. Maybe you can do just like Rubberduck and lead us all to a campground for a pow wow and announce all of our trucking demands to the media and government officials. Just giving you a hard time. Realistically you are looking at about $27,000 to $30,000 your first year. I don't care what the recruiters tell you. Good luck

Yeah that would go over well. As soon as a company driver decided to that, somebody else would be driving that truck the very next day. There is no shortage of drivers. Always someone else waiting to take your ride.

Well they can have it if they are only going to make 27-30k a year like someone quoted earlier. I could make more money bagging groceries and be home every night!
