If he comes back and tells us how it went, he'd be the first newb to do it.
I'll wait nonetheless. -

Necroposters... the LOT of you...
-
Saw you were from NC too and getting ready to jump in..... you anywhere near Raleigh?
Love the avatar you use too..... just something about Barney spanking ANYTHING heheheheheh -
I posted early on in your main thread about the schools and getting your OBS hours to work out, remember??? LOL I didn't have the avatar then though .
It first struck me as Barney as well, but upon closer inspection it is in fact, a hippo. -
I keep hearing that Roehl is very strict. No mistakes are allowed. What kind of mistakes? Was trying to make it with Schneider but as of last week they have told me that they won't be hiring this quarter. Roehl is also just a couple hundred miles north of me. Might give them a call.
-
If Roehl is strict, they're certainly not TMC strict. They seem reasonable and I doubt their expectations are out of line with reality. Most reports are very favorable.

Did you decide on Sunstate or Swift? I'm interested in Sunstate because I live in their backyard. Thanks.
Tom -
I drove for Sunstate for a while, they're a pretty decent company. Most of the time you'll pull orange juice out of Florida, and whatever they have to get you back. Home most weekends atleast a day, 100% no touch freight, decent pay by Florida standards, and simple but effective trucks.
When I was there the trucks ran 75 mph, but they have since cut them back to 65.
