Took the time to prep some meals before I head out on the road.

It has to be refrigerated, right? The photo shows everything sitting in a cardboard box.

Actually I freeze them. The box was just what I tossed them in to move them to the freezer after sealing them

I’m beyond boring on the road. Egg wraps / bagel in the morning.

Turkey / ham / beef wraps for lunch and dinner with lettuce, tomatoes, peppers and onions.

It fills me up and gives me enough energy to work and that’s all I ask for.

One of my favorite meals is roast beef, sliced cheese and mayo wrapped in a Romain heart leaf. I don't like the tortilla wraps. It's a fantastic super low carb, good protein meal. Can use turkey, chicken etc.

I'm usually out 8 to 12 weeks at a pop. When I get home, the wife & I road trip to the Amish markets either in South Jersey or in Lancaster PA. Nothing beats the absolute freshness of the meats, produce and baked goods. I'm usually stocked up for most of my road time.

Unfortunately, you can't find Shoo Fly Pie in Southern California.

I sold my soul to save money and cut down on spoilage. I chose food preservatives. Mediocre bread is better than green bread. I might try a cooler/dry ice someday if i can figure a way to squeeze it. Those natural products last a loooong time frozen and thawed are still way better.

Look up Alpicool on Amazon. The power they require is about 60w. A 300w lighter plug inverter will power them well. It's a real compressor driven fridge/frzr so truly freezes things. A bit pricey but so worth it

The smaller ones are affordable. The large capacity units get pricey. Tiny compressors with minimal draw. Really impressive!
The compressor takes up less space depending on how long you want to freeze out to or high ambient temperature.
Thanks for the suggestion, really cool!

Tried different approaches to cleaning my instapot. Tried a so called special Dawn you spray on and wipe off. Nope. One thing I found best. Pour about an inch or two of water in it. Set it on slow cook. Even anything burnt on comes right off. Works great.
